 September's Guild Meeting

Our September meeting will take place on the 8th in the multipurpose room
of the Sahara West Library. We will have library and show-and- share at
6:30 and will start the program at 7:00.
This month we will get a bit ahead of the season with Melody's "Indian corn" project. If you would like to work on a cob, just bring in the following: scraps of clay in fall colors - any brand. If the clay is conditioned or soft, don't bother to bring the pasta machine. Bring 1/2 block of translucent, 1/2 block of ecru or ivory, and cherry-sized lumps of clay in any 5 of these suggested colors: alizarin crimson, cadmium yellow, ultramarine blue, copper, gold, purple, red pearl, or burnt umber. A working surface (tile) and a blade are necessary.
Important announcement! This month Bottles of Hope will take place on
Saturday, September 27 at a new location. We will be at The Caring Place
at 4425 S. Jones Blvd (between Trop and Harmon). We will be making
bottles for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Association specifically. There
will be more information about future BOH sessions at the meeting.
Reminder: those people who will be at our guild's booth at the
October 18th show must come to the meeting at Marty O'Roark's house on
Saturday, September 6.
See you Monday, Sept. 8!
